Hey Doug, what about “Lynn Tolley, a proper Southern woman” and one of the afternoon taste testers at the Jack Daniels distillery in Lynchburg? You should’ve won an Emmy for that one in ’95. It was a classic.

Unfortunately, whimsy died along side the great Leroy Powell. God rest his soul.

LAF – I think what you’re missing is the fact that stations like WGCL actually spend time – good time on stories like this. They’re very refreshing and in the case of wgcl putting something like this in the 11 pm is risky…but it seems to payoff
